Terms and Conditions of Use for Maradona Legends
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Maradona Legends Platform (the “Platform”) and its Games (the Games), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Use (“Terms”). These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and contributors.
2. Platform and Games Ownership and Intellectual Property
All content, logos, trademarks, and other intellectual property on the Platform are owned by Maradona Legends Ltd. or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Platform’s content without express written consent.
All assets within the Games, including characters, graphics, audio, and other content, are protected by intellectual property laws. Except where indicated by licenses (such as NFT ownership), you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Games. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Games´ assets without express written permission from Maradona Legends Ltd.
3. Account Creation and Security
To use certain features of the Platform, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information and for any activity that occurs under your account. Notify Maradona Legends immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
4. User Content and Conduct
4.1 User Content
You may be allowed to post, upload, or share content on the Platform (“User Content”). By doing so, you grant Maradona Legends a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, modify, display, and distribute your User Content for purposes of operating and promoting the Platform.
4.2 Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
• Post or share content that is illegal, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise violates any third-party rights.
• Engage in spamming, phishing, or other forms of unsolicited communications.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
5. NFTs and Digital Assets
5.1 Ownership
Digital assets such as NFTs obtained or earned within the Games may grant you ownership rights to those assets. Ownership of NFTs means that you own a unique digital certificate of authenticity for a specific game asset, but it does not confer rights to modify, distribute, or exploit the underlying content beyond the terms provided.
5.2 Responsibility
NFTs and digital assets are decentralized and stored on a blockchain. Ownership and transactions are recorded publicly. You are responsible for the security of your digital assets and wallet, as well as for any third-party fees or gas fees associated with transactions.
6. Wallet and Security
You must connect a compatible cryptocurrency wallet to play the Games and access any NFT-based features. It is your responsibility to keep your wallet secure, as Maradona Legends does not have access to or control over your wallet. If your wallet is compromised, Maradona Legends is not liable for any losses.
7. Gameplay and Earnings
The Games may offer rewards, tokens, or other incentives to players through gameplay. These tokens are subject to fluctuations in value, and there are no guarantees of profitability. Gameplay and token rewards are provided solely for entertainment purposes and should not be considered financial investments.
8. Tokenomics and In-Game Economy
8.1 Token Usage
Diego Maradona 10 Token (DM10)
The DM10 Token serves as the backbone of the ecosystem, facilitating crucial economic and governance functions. It is used for in-game purchases, such as characters and exclusive NFTs, staking for rewards, and paying transaction fees. Holders of DM10 will also participate in governance decisions through the DAO, influencing the platform’s development and policies.
Utility of DM10
In-game Purchases: Players and collectors can use DM10 Tokens to buy characters, skins, boosters, and other in-game assets. This can include Memory NFTs related to Maradona, enhancing the gaming experience or the value of collections.
Staking: DM10 Tokens may be staked within the platform to earn rewards, which could include more DM10 Tokens or special access to limited edition NFTs and other in-game assets. Staking helps secure the network while incentivizing long-term holding.
Governance: Holding and Staking DM10 Tokens will grant users the right to participate in governance decisions through the DAO, influencing the direction of game development, feature additions, and changes within the ecosystem.
Memories Creation & Minting: memories created by community members will be minted using DM10 Token, creating a circular dynamic that favors the internal ecosystem.
Goal Token (GT)
The Goal Token is primarily geared towards enhancing the gaming experience through a play-to-earn model. Players earn Goal Tokens by participating in games and completing quests, which can then be used to purchase in-game items or traded in the secondary market. This token can also be used to pay for entry fees in special game events and competitions. Furthermore, it offers players a mechanism for Season Leaderboard tracking, promoting active participation and loyalty within the Platform.
Utility of GT
Reward Mechanism: Players earn Goal Tokens through gameplay, such as completing daily quests or achieving certain milestones within the game. This play-to-earn aspect motivates gameplay profitability.
Marketplace Alternative Currency: The Goal Token can be used as a currency only within the secondary market to purchase in-game NFTs or Boosters, enabling a vibrant trade environment within the community.
Entry Fees for Events: Goal Tokens might be required as entry fees for special in-game events or competitions, creating a use case that drives demand and circulates the token within the ecosystem.
Conversion to DM10: Players may have the option to convert Goal Tokens into DM10 Tokens, which can then be used for staking or governance, linking the two tokens within a unified economic model.
Fan Points & Memories NFT
They serve as the Internal and Universal Score system. Fan Points are accumulated by purchasing and/or collecting the Memories NFTs. The higher the value, the more Fans Points are granted. These points might also be awarded for collecting specific groups of NFTs associated with memorable moments or milestones within the Games. Participation in special community activities will be awarded with these points.
Utility of Fan Points
Rewards and Incentives: Fan Points can be redeemed for exclusive rewards such as VR experiences, access to unique gaming events, or merchandise. These rewards not only track community participation but also reflect the achievement among the community.
Status and Recognition: Accumulating Fan Points elevate user’s status within the community, displayed through geographical and languages filtered leaderboards or special status indicators. High-ranking users will receive special recognition, such as titles, badges, or exclusive avatars, which publicly acknowledge their contributions and engagement.
Voting Power: Fan Points will translate into enhancement of voting power within the platform’s DAO, allowing users with high engagement to have a greater say in future developments and decisions.
Community Rolls and Events: Fan Points will serve as a measurement to be eligible as community events and regional Rights Owner (through the badges and titles), allowing top members access to resources from treasury destined to offline community events, encouraging the community to stay active and involved with the memory of Maradona.
8.2 Risk Disclosure
Due to the decentralized nature of blockchain and cryptocurrencies, you acknowledge and accept the risk of volatility in token values. Maradona Legends Ltd. does not provide any warranty or guarantee regarding the value, transferability, or liquidity of tokens associated with the Games.
9. Prohibited Activities
You may not engage in any activity that:
• Attempts to cheat, hack, or exploit the Game.
• Violates any local, state, or international law.
• Uses automation, bots, or scripts to interfere with gameplay.
10. Privacy and Data Collection
Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, is incorporated by reference into these Terms. By using the Platform, you agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy. We do not collect personal information beyond what is necessary for game access and blockchain transactions. 11. Third-Party Links and Services
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services (Sequence, Wowlabs, Alfred Pay) that are not owned or controlled by Maradona Legends. We do not endorse or assume responsibility for any third-party content or practices. You access third-party sites at your own risk, and their respective terms and policies will govern their use.
12. Payments and Transactions
If the Platform includes any paid features or transactions, you agree to provide accurate payment information. Maradona Legends may use third-party payment processors and is not responsible for any errors or issues that arise in relation to such transactions.
13. Termination of Access
Maradona Legends reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, for any reason, without notice. Grounds for termination may include but are not limited to violations of these Terms or illegal or harmful activities.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform and the Games are provided “as is” and “as available.” Maradona Legends disclaims all warranties, express or implied, regarding the Platform’s and Game’s functionality, reliability, accuracy, and availability. We do not guarantee that the Platform nor the Games will be free of errors, interruptions, or vulnerabilities.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maradona Legends Platform and the Games shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Platform or the Games. This limitation of liability applies to damages resulting from any errors, loss of data, unauthorized access, or inability to use the Platform or the Games.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Maradona Legends, its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Argentina, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms, or your use of the Platform and Games will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of C.A.B.A, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
18. Changes to Terms
Maradona Legends reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Platform and/or the Games signifies your acceptance of the updated Terms.
